I actually miss being at beauterre! The classes were very beneficial and they taught me all the tools I need to stay sober and I have never felt more comfortable in a treatment facility!!!
While I don’t normally like to put my business out on the internet for all to see, I’ve been seeing some negative reviews of a place that changed me forever. I attended Beauterre in May of 2015 and have sober ever since. That’s not to say I am cured or even close to it. I work hard everyday to maintain a status quo that involves sobriety. Beauterre showed me how to enjoy sobriety. It gave me tools to use in situations that I used to turn to alcohol. I learned to be ok with myself, knowing that is not perfect. I learned to connect with people on a level more than “what can I get from you.” I was shown a better way to live. I am in constant contact for the last 2.5 years with alumni and people I met because of Beauterre. Treatment facilities, in my opinion, are not there to guarantee sobriety. Treatment facilities get you started down the road of happiness. I chose Beauterre because I needed to go somewhere and hey had a bed. I have been through 6 treatments and tried to do it on my own. It wasn’t until Beauterre that I was able to accept myself and my disease. The staff had an energy that let me know it was going to be ok. They were trying different techniques and therapies. They were willing to take true risk on me if I was willing to give them a chance. The accommodations were fantastic and I truly live a better way now. Beauterre didn’t save my life. It changed my life. To all those still suffering, the opposite of addiction is connection. Beauterre is my connection.
This was a miracle . Never heard of this facility and a Placement Company recommended Beauterre. So glad we chose this place for my daughter who had recently Overdosed on Opiates. The facility is amazing for the clients and family. I would highly suggest attending the Family Informational meeting, I have lived my life surrounded by addicts and 3 out of my 4 children have had addiction problems resulting in Inpatient Treatment. I have never encountered a place that focus's on the Science of Addiction and giving you the tools to make the right choices. NO FACILITY can make you STOP using!! You are given tools , understanding and coping mechanisms , what you do with that is your choice!!! Beauterre is by far the best facility that we have encountered and we have been to the best of Minnesota .. Thank you Beauterre for giving my family and daughter the tools that we need to ALL be successful.
Life saving, life changing experience.
My loved one came here after failed treatment at Hazelden. They have been clean for 6 months. The facility is amazing. The staff are wonderful and very hands on with family. Would definitely recommend.
Beauterre is infinitely better than Hazelden. Don't listen to the hatemonger badgering about "no medical staff" . They have highly qualified medical staff that assist with everything barring something you would need hospitalization for. They have overqualified counselors offering a broad spectrum of recovery approaches to help any individual get clean and stay clean. No place is perfect, but if you are adult enough to advocate for yourself, there is no better program in our region. Having been to many different programs, of this I am 100% certain. The food is 5 star. And you get accupuncture, and massage.. What what more could you ask for? Beauterre helped me save and take charge of my own life and I owe them everything. I put in hard work knowing that no one can keep me sober but me, but Beauterre certainly helped me get my glow back: Mike,Tracy, Sean, James, and Kayla especially! Beauterre will always be a part of me, and now being alumni, I intend to remain a part of it.
The most amazing place in the world. I was one of the first clients there. While a new company, the staff became my family. The alumni is amazing too. We are in contact with each other through social media and meetings. I learned so much about myself while there. I have been to many other places for my alcohol addiction but this is the only place where I felt absolutely at peace. It was because of the wonderful staff and my peers. I will be forever grateful for my experience at Beauterre. I highly recommend it for anyone who is struggling and willing to change!
